Ray Ng has been a professional photographer since 1987 and has photographed on location for clients in the United States and abroad. His work has appeared on the covers of major magazines worldwide.
A native of New York city, he was formally trained at the School of Visual Arts for his under graduate education. After that he was an apprentice for 7 years to various photographers whose work appeared in National Geographic and Rolling Stone magazines. Since then, he has photographed for corporate and editorial clients ranging from Time magazine to Taco Bell.
Whether it is one mile underground in a palladium mine or to the top of a corporate office building, Ray brings genuine enthusiasm, a trained eye and his own decisive vision to each and every job. This unique combination of qualities puts him at the forefront of his client's minds when it comes to assigning that hard to get photograph.
His ability to bring competence and warmth to a shoot has been an asset when photographing subjects that may not normally be at ease in front of a camera. Whether photographing a top executive or a mineworker, Ray creates a special rapport between his subject and the camera.
Quote for the day by Leonardo Da Vinci,
"One can have no smaller or greater mastery than mastery of oneself."
